Dayton, Ohio January 24, 2000 -- Plus Technologies, A Division of Digital Controls, announced today a comprehensive Linux initiative which includes Linux development, free product licensing, and a partnership with Red Hat. In addition to supporting commercial platforms such as Solaris, HP-UX, AIX, SCO, SVR4, DEC, Sequent, SGI and NT, Plus Technologies will develop their leading Delivery-ware products, LP Plus and OM Plus, to support the popular Linux operating system.  Plus Technologies will port to Red Hat, Caldera, SuSE and other popular forms of Linux.   

Linux is considered "freeware" as it is sold license free. This concept has been proven to be very popular in the development community. In order to support this philosophy, Plus Technologies has developed a "Linux Developer License" which provides Plus Technologies software  license free. This "license free" software is distributed from the Plus Technologies web site www.plustechnologies.com.

In addition, Plus Technologies has partnered with Red Hat, one of the largest distributors of Linux software in the world. Under terms of this partnership Red Hat will include Plus Technologies products on their "Red Hat Server" CD package.
