Digital Controls acquires web hosting business.
Dayton, Ohio-- Digital Controls Corporation, through its Internet Solutions division e-solutions@work, today announced that it has acquired the web
hosting business from the Sidney Daily News, a division of Brown Publishing.
After acquiring the Sidney Daily News, Brown Publishing made the strategic business decision to exit the web hosting business. Together, Digital Controls and Brown Publishing are transitioning the Sidney Daily News customers over to the e-solutions@work web hosting facilities. The two companies are very focused on Customer Care and that is why Brown Publishing has entrusted e-solutions@work to take care of their customers web hosting and web site updating needs.
Brown Publishing had decided to focus on their core business of providing tremendous local news to Ohio communities since 1920 and they were
looking for a company to continue providing their customers with web hosting, said Bob Calhoun, VP and General Manager of e-solutions@work. Added Calhoun, We were looking to expand our web hosting business and we
are extremely pleased with this new business and look forward to taking great care of Browns customers.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
