Dayton, OhioDigital Controls Corporation announced today that they are moving the companys headquarters to a new facility in
Montgomery County located at 444 Alexandersville Road in Miamisburg, Ohio. The Company is currently located in Warren County at 305 S. Pioneer Blvd. in Springboro, Ohio.
Our new headquarters will allow us to
better serve our customers and provide the appropriate professional environment for our associates, said Mike Denny, CEO of Digital Controls. Added Mr. Denny, This move will enable us to have available the
latest technology and facility requirements that reflect our portfolio of information technology services, software products and development capabilities. We are delighted with becoming part of the Montgomery
County and City of Miamisburg communities.
Digital Controls new headquarters will sit on a 5-acre parcel located in Miamisburg on Alexandersville Road, south of State Route 725. It will have easy
access to Interstates 75 and 675 as well as shopping, restaurants, and hotels. The Companys three divisions, Technology Services Group™, e-Tools@Work™ and Plus Technologies® will
all reside there, as will the Companys, marketing and corporate operations.
Construction is scheduled to begin in April of 2003 and will be completed in the fall of 2003. The new facility will
accommodate the 50+ associates of Digital Controls Corporation and its Divisions, with provisions to accommodate almost double that figure in the future.
The Company also has associates on-site at several military facilities, as well as, San Diego, CA, Sarasota, FL and Charleston, WV.
The new facility will ultimately consist of 48,000 square feet of new
office space. Construction Managers of Ohio, the developer of the property on Alexandersville Road in Miamisburg, is building the new facility for the Company. Digital Controls anticipates a
10-12% annual headcount growth.
The Company received financial incentives from the Montgomery County Department of Economic Development and the City of Miamisburgs Economic Development Department via the
ED/GE program (Economic Development/Government Equity) to help facilitate the construction of this new facility.
We want to thank the County Commission and the ED/GE Committee for recognizing the
significance and the benefits of this project and supporting it accordingly, Miamisburg Mayor Dick Church, Jr., said.
City and County staffs have worked closely with officials from Digital Controls to secure an economic package that makes this relocation possible. This is a good company and the type of business any community would be pleased to attract.
