Plus Technologies releases Subscription Pricing
Dayton, Ohio--In an effort to continually provide innovative pricing
solutions to its customers, Plus Technologies announced today the availability of Subscription Based pricing. Plus Technologies customers can now pay a monthly subscription price for LP Plus and OM Plus software products. Thirty-six and twelve month subscription prices have been announced.
Subscription prices are based on 12 or 36 month fixed term software licenses. Instead of paying once up front for a perpetual right to use the
software, customers pay monthly for a temporary right to use license. Technical support and access to software upgrades are also included in the monthly fees.
Subscription pricing offers significant advantages to our customers, said Michael Visser, VP/GM of Plus Technologies. Added Visser From an
annual budget perspective, monthly fees are more affordable than purchasing a perpetual license. In addition, software approval processes can be simplified since subscription fees are treated as
expenses (not capital), often eliminating the
need for difficult capital appropriation processes. Finally, subscription contracts can be seen as lower risk as they can be terminated at any time, allowing customers to avoid cost if their business needs change.
In an effort to maintain its philosophy of providing pricing strategies that
differentiate the company from the competition, Plus Technologies subscription pricing is being added to a wide array of existing pricing models including server based licensing, rules based pricing for unique size licenses, and custom facilities licensing.
