partnership. The agreement enables Digital Controls to offer SteelEyes LifeKeeper for Windows NT reliability software solution as part of its SureNet™ family of infrastructure services to mid-tier customers
and institutions requiring 24x7x365 availability of eBusiness applications and data residing on Windows NT servers."We are extremely excited about becoming SteelEyes worldwide partner responsible for
supporting and implementing SteelEye's LifeKeeper for NT as well as LifeKeeper for MP-RAS," said Michael L. Denny, CEO of Digital Controls. "Our customers depend on Digital Controls for end-to-end
technical solutions. Our partnership with SteelEye allows us to provide world-class high availability for open systems. This is a critical need for our customers, especially with their Internet-based applications.

of experience in providing technology solutions, professional services and customer care, Digital Controls has grown its SureNet family of infrastructure services into a comprehensive suite that extends the
capabilities of IT organizations around the world. Working with SteelEye, Digital Controls will enhance SureNets scope of high availability solutions by utilizing LifeKeeper for NT. For those customers that have
implemented NCR systems, Digital Controls will also offer SteelEyes high availability solution for UNIX. "Were pleased to sign Digital Controls as a worldwide distribution partner. They offer effective and
practical solutions and services that are a natural fit for our LifeKeeper product line," said Jim Fitzgerald, president and CEO of SteelEye. "With an increasing number of Internet-based applications being
deployed on Windows NT, the ability to maintain continuous uptime becomes an extremely high priority for IT organizations. Our partnership with Digital Controls will provide customers with a reliable clustering
framework for meeting the most stringent performance requirements of their business-critical applications running on Windows NT, while keeping eBusiness computing costs to a minimum."SteelEyes LifeKeeper for
NT maintains the high availability of clustered NT systems by monitoring system and application health, maintaining client connectivity and providing uninterrupted data access regardless of where clients reside - on
the corporate Internet, intranet or extranet. To enable automatic system and application recovery if a system goes down, LifeKeeper allows applications to failover to other servers in the cluster. This helps
LifeKeeper minimize the risk of a single point of failure and allows NT systems to meet the stringent availability requirements of mission-critical operations by creating a fault resilient environment
