Digital Controls Technology Solutions Group Announces Contract to Migrate MTS Seating from NCR to Sun Microsystems

Solutions Group today announced that it has been awarded a contract to migrate MTS Seatings NCR legacy UNIX application server environment to a new Sun Microsystems E450 system and Suns Solaris Operating System.

Solutions Group. Added Rang, MTS has been a good customer for a long time and we are looking forward to helping them migrate from their NCR environment to Sun and Solaris. One of the things that attracted Sun Microsystems to our company was our strategic presence in NCR systems accounts all over the country. With our years of experience in the UNIX world, both NCR MP-RAS and Suns Solaris, MTS could not have selected a better partner to assist them with this strategic migration.
In addition to migrating MTS to a Sun environment, the contract also includes an upgrade to OM Plus, the Output
Management software solution from Digital Controls software division, Plus Technologies. MTS has been a long time
user of the Print Management solution from Plus Technologies called LP Plus, and now with OM Plus they can deliver reports, and other system output via e-mail, fax machine, or to a web site as well as printers without any changes to their application.
