Plus Technologies products certified by SAP for R/3
Dayton, Ohio-- Plus Technologies announced today that their product suite, called OM Plus, has been officially certified by SAP for R/3 version 4.0 and later thus creating a very highly integrated output management solution for SAP R/3 users. Plus Technologies has passed SAP's rigorous BC-XOM 4.0 testing at SAP's facility in Walldorf Germany. Now that Plus Technologies' OM Plus can be integrated with SAP's R/3, it can receive and send messages to and from R/3, identify R/3 end users and SAP report ID's. With this integration, SAP R/3 users will be able to receive real time status about the output they have created and/or requested. Finally, because of this tight interface to R/3, Plus Technologies products are able to track SAP R/3 jobs throughout the customer's entire enterprise and even receive verification of the delivery of the output to the end user.
"This certification is a tremendous breakthrough for us," said Mike Visser, VP and General Manager of Plus Technologies. Added Visser, "Many SAP customers will only deal with SAP certified partners. Now that we have completed this certification a very strategic market, the SAP R/3 ERP market is opened to us."
Plus Technologies products are sold to companies that use client/server systems where performance or manageability of applications is inhibited by the lack of utilities and tools. While the Fortune 1000 is a focus, Plus Technologies also has a significant base in the mid-tier market as well. Plus Technologies' products are sold worldwide with over one third (1/3) of total sales coming from outside the United States. Plus Technologies has several thousand customers with representation from virtually every industry, every version of UNIX and interfacing with virtually all ERP applications. www.plustechnologies.com.
