Sun Microsystems selects Digital Controls as National Partner.

Dayton, Ohio

-- Digital Controls Corporation announced today that Sun Microsystems, the industry leader in server solutions, has authorized them as a nationwide IVAR Channel Partner. This nationwide authorization is an affirmation from Sun Microsystems of the strategic value they place on a partnership with Digital Controls.

Sun Microsystems' announcement of the partnership reads in part, *"Digital Controls has been extremely successful, on a consistent basis, in developing long term relationships and account penetration in over 500 mid-tier market companies As a Channel Partner, Digital Controls [will] provide a Sun/Solaris solution to migrate their [user] base through packaged migration programs, leveraging [their] migration services methodology with the value added elements of [their] LP Plus Print Management software and network solutions. The Sun/Solaris platform will [also] be used to host Digital Controls' Plus Technologies Division's suite of [Print and View, and Output Management] software products."*

"By the addition of Sun Microsystems servers to our Solution portfolio, Digital Controls continues its strategy of having the best of class products for our Technology Solutions," said Mike Denny, CEO of Digital Controls.
