You can call for help when a network problem demands attention, but is this really a good approach to preserving and managing your technology investment? Downtime can easily cost more than preventive steps. We can closely monitor your network to prevent many problems before they cause serious downtime with a SureNet™ service called, Network Monitoring.

Let your people focus on being productive at what they know; rely on our trained and experienced technical staff to monitor your network and pro-actively head off trouble before it starts.

After investing significant time and money in your computer network you expect it to work and to help your staff be productive. But networks demand constant attention.

What is the best strategy for supporting your network?

Network Monitoring's purpose is to maximize the benefits of your Information Technology investment through real-time remote network monitoring and proactive support, all orchestrated from our Network Operations Center.

While you focus on leveraging the network's tools to better serve your clients, we make sure the tools stay sharp by keeping our eyes on your technology. Simply put, we leverage technology to manage technology.

Network Monitoring gives you access to a large, experienced team of engineers with various specialties. You essentially time-share our technical skills at a cost far lower than building up the same expertise within your organization or purchasing support on an hourly basis.

BETTER INFORMATION - Network Monitoring keeps track of the health of your servers and network devices (switches and routers etc.) and provides a long-term perspective on performance. With solid data we can isolate immediate problems and help you plan for growth.

CONTROL OVER COSTS - Networks are expensive to build and so are the tools necessary to provide pro-active monitoring.  Network Monitoring provides you affordable access to software tools that are expensive to buy, set up and maintain.

EXPERIENCED SUPPORT - Lessons learned from one site benefit all of our clients. Network Monitoring gives you access to that valuable knowledge pool.

FREEDOM TO PLAN - Off-loading routine tasks, like monitoring your network devices and servers, frees up your internal staff to oversee the strategic direction and planning of your network

We first make sure that your network's hardware has the resources to support remote monitoring, and that your software is properly patched and configured. Next, we set up a VPN between your site and our Network Operations Center (NOC). We then install an array of software tools that automatically takes the pulse of the network on a regular basis. These tools are powerful, but they are also expensive. Because of this, many have been available only for the largest of networks. The software tools are configured to take actions that prevent many potential problems. More serious problems sound an alarm in our NOC so that our staff can notify you quickly to take correct action.  If you are also a Network Support customer of ours, we will assist you in the resolution of the problem as well as notifying you. We also provide graphical reports that summarize performance and trend data of your network so you can make informed decisions.

Downtime can be avoided. Think about it. If your server goes down, your staff stops working. If your server is down for a day, with a staff of 20, that can be a loss of up to 160 productivity hours, plus the cost to get the server back on-line, not to mention angry clients. If the router goes down between corporate and the branch office, the branch office stops working.

We can detect a pending router failure, we can pro-actively prevent the down time. What is that worth to you?

Our Network Monitoring customers can free their existing technical staff from these routine tasks to accomplish what they were hired to do - manage the strategic use of technology.

With reliable trend data, we can demonstrate what specific upgrades are needed and when.
